Quarry Park Derrick House

In celebration of our 25^th Anniversary Dale Gruber Construction wanted to give back to the community that has supported us over the years.  We teamed up with Quarry Park, a local park that represents the area with all of its granite quarries and is visited by people of all ages.  Dale Gruber Construction built the derrick house, which shelters the equipment needed to operate the derrick.  Quarry Park is home to one of the few operational wood derricks in existence today.  The derrick house allows the park to show its visitors how the granite was removed from the quarries years ago.  Dale Gruber Construction was able to be a part of the derrick house project with the help of many of our suppliers and vendors.  We are thankful to be a part of such a great community. 

Lake George

Dale Gruber Construction collaborated with the CMBA and other area businesses donating our time to remodel the existing park shelter. This included removing the existing roof structure, installing a new roof, new siding and many other updates. We also helped construct the deck and fishing pier. This was all part of the Lake George Beautification Project championed by the St Cloud Rotary Club.  We were happy to volunteer and work with other businesses and organizations to provide an excellent area for families and friends to visit.

Habitat for Humanity

Dale Gruber Construction has been involved with Habitat for Humanity for many years.  We volunteer our labor to build or remodel homes for the organization.  For the last few years we help out with Habitat for Humanity's Womens Build.  It is a nice way to help out the community and a family in need and fun for all participants. 

Munsinger Garden's Gift Shop

Bill Clemens provided the city of St. Cloud with a wonderful botanical garden, visited by thousands each year.  The garden was in need of a gift and information center.  Dale Gruber Construction partnered with the CMBA, city park employees, and other businesses in the area and built a new gift shop.  Visitors can learn about the history of the garden, sit down for a snack, and shop for gifts.  All proceeds from the gift shop go towards the upkeep of the gardens.  We were proud to be a part of building this project that enhanced the garden and the community. 

Make-A-Wish Foundation

Dale Gruber Construction helped grant a little boy's wish.  A boy in the area was suffering from leukemia and his wish was to have a Rainbow playground system in his yard. Make-A-Wish contacted the Association of Builders and Contractors to help with his wish.  As a member of ABC, we volunteered our time to install the new Rainbow playground system.  We were grateful to be a part of such a wonderful organization.
